How to
Join
Regrettably
(or perhaps not so, because it means that we have been very successful) the
Memberhip List is now FULL.
If
you are interested in joining when there is a vacancy, please write to our
Membership Secretary:
Carol Weston, 21 Leeward Road, South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 5YR,
with details of your name, address and telephone number and ask to be placed
on our waiting list. We will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
If
you are a current member of another U3A Group Associate Membership will be
charged at a lower rate because the fee to the Third Age Trust needs to be
paid only once for each year and your U3A Group where you are an Ordinary
Member will pay it. You will need to prove your membership of the other
U3A Group (valid membership card).
Your
membership will last until renewal on June 1st. of each year
- however, new members who can join between January and
May inclusive can do so at a reduced fee of £7.50 per person (£15
for a couple) for the half year.
Please
remember also, that if you are a current payer of Income Tax and/or Capital
Gains Tax, to tick the Gift Aid box when you complete your membershipapplication.
Having
an E-mail address is not compulsory, but if you do have one please put it on
the form - there are considerable communications cost-savings using this method
for both the U3A Group as a whole and for the Activity Group Coordinators.
